I am Alok Kumar Ojha, Duty Supervisor, Airport Service, Patna and it is with immense gratitude and pride that I share my journey with SpiceJet – a journey that has been nothing short of transformative.

From my earliest childhood memories, I have always been fascinated by aircraft. Watching them soar high in the sky filled me with wonder and excitement. The roar of engines, the sight of takeoffs and landings and the dream of being part of that world stayed with me as I grew. Aviation was not just an industry in my eyes — it was a dream, a passion and a calling. I often imagined myself working in an airport, being close to aircraft and playing a role in connecting people and places.

That dream took flight on 28th January 2016, when I joined SpiceJet as a Customer Service Executive in Delhi. I was filled with ambition and determination, but I had little idea how profoundly this organization would shape me both professionally and personally.

Just over a year later, in June 2017, I was transferred to Patna. This new chapter brought with it fresh responsibilities and challenges, which became the foundation of my growth. With hard work, dedication and the immense trust placed in me by the organization, I was able to step into the role of Supervisor – a milestone that I proudly owe to SpiceJet’s belief in nurturing its people and their potential.

For me, SpiceJet has been more than an employer; it has been a true university of aviation and leadership. Every day has been a classroom where I learned:
• To treat passengers with empathy, ensuring their journeys are safe, seamless and memorable.
• To manage the complexities of ground operations and recognize their vital contribution to aviation safety.
• To understand the technical and operational nuances of aircraft handling and balancing.
• To build resilience, adaptability and confidence while working in high-pressure environments.

Over the course of 9 years and 7 months, SpiceJet has not only polished my professional skills but has also shaped me into a better leader and individual. The trust, mentorship and camaraderie I have experienced here remain invaluable treasures of my career.

Looking back at the boy who stood awestruck watching aircraft in the sky, I feel proud to say that his dream was realized through SpiceJet. Today, I carry forward the SpiceJet spirit in everything I do — a spirit of passion, perseverance and people-first service.

This journey has been extraordinary and I remain deeply committed to contributing my best toward the continued success of this organization.
